Spa and hospitality teams harness Middle Eastern growth

With tourism and business travel on the rise, the Middle East holds great potential for the hotel and spa industry. 30 of the world’s top hotels are already located in Dubai, which is also now firmly established as a world-class luxury holiday and spa destination.

The hotel market in Dubai continues to develop at a dramatic pace. 77 new hotels, totaling 26,150 rooms, are expected to be in operation by 2010 increasing the current room numbers by 156%. By 2015 it is predicted that the UAE will be amongst the top spa destinations in the world with an estimated 200 hotels offering world class spa facilities.

Not to miss out on this phenomenal growth, Georgeson is working with some of the world’s leading hotel groups including Starwood and Jumeirah Hotels, on a number of hotel and spa design projects in the region. Further details will be released shortly.
